Fulya Acikgoz was born in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from the Middle East Technical University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Working as a production engineer for a couple of years, she conquered the world of mathematics and logistics. As she arrived to Florida in 1991, she knew it was time for her to dive into the different dimensions of art.
She restarted painting at the Boca Raton Museum of Art School in 2010 and continued her artistic career in Burlini’s Studio of Arts and has evolved into an artist who found her own unique style in her brushstroke. To name a few of her accomplishments, she won Best of Show Cultural Council for West Palm Beach County, BIANNUAL 2023 and was recognized as a Signature Level Member of the Boca Museum of Art, Artists Guild.
Her artworks have been juried and exhibited locally; e.g.Boca Raton Museum of Art, Cornell Museum and Coral Springs Museum of Art, nationally; e.g. Art United-New York, National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society and Cultural Center of Cape Cod and internationally; e.g. NIS Art Gallery, Istanbul.
She is a member of the Women in the Visual Arts, Cultural Council of West Palm Beach and National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society.
