Torrey Green was one of the original students admitted to Palm Beach County School of the Arts, now known as Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach. He has won many art contests and scholarships which allowed him to study at Boston University after being recruited in high school. While attending B. U., Torrey earned a BFA in painting and an MFA in studio art teaching, both on scholarship.
Torrey has twenty-two years of teaching experience and has taught all ages from first graders to adults, however since its opening in 2004, Torrey has been the artistic motivator at Don Estridge High Tech Middle School, here in Boca and is excited about inspiring young minds.

Perspective Drawing (Ages 10-12)

Discover the rules and techniques of linear and atmospheric perspective and learn the basics of one and two-point perspective in a fun art studio environment! We will explore simple everyday objects, and cityscape while learning how to draw properly. We will focus on accurately representing simple forms, architectural elements.
In Three D (Ages 6-7)

During this fun week, students will build and design 3D art pieces using paper, cardboard, wood, wire, found objects and more. They will share ideas about many creative possibilities for their projects. Students will learn to apply steps in brainstorming problem solving, designing then in creating their own unique artwork. Participants will also learn about techniques of modern and ancient artists as they apply their concepts in 3D art.
