With over 30 years of painting with pastels, oils and acrylics, Oksana Urban ls a seasoned professional artist. She focuses on the magnificent everyday scenes seen along our beaches and waterways here in South Florida. Oksana's art draws the viewer into the scene by using a combination of clear colors and texture, natural lights and shadows. Oksana, originally from Ukraine, has a master's degree in architecture from L’viv Polytechnic Institute in Ukraine.
After coming to America, Oksana honed her skills while attending classes at the Boca Raton Museum Art School. When Oksana is not busy taking care of her two daughters, Isabella and Melania, she shares her love of art with children at the Boca Raton Museum Art School and the Sunville Academy Art School. Oksana's primary work is in the area of photo realism through pastel and oil paintings. Oksana she has won numerous awards through juried exhibitions at local and regional gallery competitions and her works are found in national and international collections.

In a vigorous 5 days mission, students will generate and create a menagerie of wondrous characters. Whether these be completely original beasts or unique versions of exiting beings. Students will learn to build amine cartooning creations based on a weekly theme. Pencil, markers and liner pens will allow for finished products in an atmosphere where skills can be at any level and lively fun conversation about the anime / cartooning world thrives.
Pastel Painting Workshop
