I am passionate about art and nature. Art was my favorite activity from my first memories. I have always loved working with children. I took art classes at the Boca Museum when I was growing up and adored the experience. I have taught at Calusa Elementary for over 35 years, but missing my calling to art, I became certified in art as well and became the art teacher at Calusa 10 years ago. I love to work in many mediums, but my favorite is acrylic painting with nature as my inspiration.

Learn to use your observation skills to notice and recreate the beauty and detail of animals in their natural habitat. Students will experiment with different painting techniques to paint beautiful works of creatures in nature.
