JEN FISHER is a mixed media artist with an interior design background currently residing in Boca Raton, Florida. During her years as a designer in New York City, she worked on various commercial design projects for prominent architectural firms. Transitioning to the academic world, she became an Academic and Career Advisor at the New York School of Interior Design.
Jen’s desire to create small took her artistic career down a new path: jewelry design and teaching art. She created her own architecturally inspired jewelry line and began painting while teaching and experimenting with new materials. Jen currently enjoys urban sketching, participating in art exhibitions and teaching perspective drawing and city sketching.
Her 2020 pandemic drawings from her recently published book, Dear Diary, A Pictorial Essay of Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic, have become part of the archives at the William & Mary Libraries Special Collections Research Center of personal experiences and documentaries of the Coronavirus pandemic.
