Barbara Wasserman

Originally from New York, attended Pratt Institute at 9 years of age, went to Hofstra University and completed a Master’s degree at New York University. Lived and worked in Mexico City for 20 years before returning to Florida. One of the original staff of instructors at the Armory Art facility in West Palm Beach, Florida. Barbara has been a proud staff Instructor at the Boca Raton Museum Art School Since 1981. My paintings are included in the permanent collections of the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, Museum of Art at the University of Texas in Austin Texas and the Asheville Museum of Art in Asheville North Carolina. She had received awards from the National Academy of Design, the Norton Gallery, the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the Four Arts of Palm Beach in Palm Beach Florida. Her collectors include Lopez Portillo, the former President of Mexico, Fred Zimmerman, Film Producer, as well as Vicki Carr, Entertainer.
