Addison Wolff was born in Winter Park, Florida; lives and works in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Wolff received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana (2010). Wolff’s practice explores queer identity, expression, and sexuality. Themes of evolution, time, personal identity, societal influences, fluidity, and code switching are explored through non-objective compositions of broken color, layering, erasure, and moiré effects, on canvas and hand built, ceramic forms.
Selected solo exhibitions include: “Addison Wolff,” The Frank, Pembroke Pines, Florida, (2022). Selected group exhibitions include: “Mes del Orgullo Gay,” Mexican Cultural Institute, Miami, Florida, (2022) “36th Annual All Florida Exhibition,” Alliance for the Arts, Fort Myers, Florida, (2022), “12x12.2022,” Wilton Arts, Wilton Manors, Florida, (2022), and “My Utopia,” BRiC, Boca Raton, Florida, (2022). Wolff received the Barry-Bashur Family Foundation, Emerging Artist Award (2021) and has works in numerous private and national collections.

Are you looking to expand upon your hand building skillset to create ceramic sculptural work? This class will focus on hand building large, non-functional, sculptural ceramic works utilizing a modified coil-slab technique. During this class we will work on making an enclosed dome-shaped form, while learning to be sensitive to the natural entropy of the clay body. This project will give you the foundation to make a bigger impact with your work. Additionally, we will develop strategies to inform the movement
